about
JAZZABELLA
Staying true to the vinyl culture for the last ten years, Jazzabella has made a name for herself amongst DJs and music aficionados alike. Born and raised in L.A., Jazzabella has played numerous events, private parties, and radio shows alongside some of the best DJ’s in the scene. In 2017, L.A. Weekly wrote a feature on her and the all-female DJ crew she founded, Girls Gone Vinyl L.A. The response to the article both empowered the current rise of female DJs and helped inspire future female DJs to start their own crews throughout the Los Angeles area and beyond. Jazzabella’s ability to rock a crowd has taken her beyond L.A. She has played stints in New York, Chicago, Oakland, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.
REG XELLE
Rachelle, aka “DJ Reg Xelle” began her journey with music in the early nineties going out with her older sisters to warehouse parties in her native born city, Los Angeles. By 1993, she became part of an all male dance crew becoming their first female dancer, and discovered her love for dance and djing. Inspired by dj/dance culture, she fell in love with underground parties simply because the music and the dancing never stopped until past sunrise, always leaving parties in the morning drenched in sweat. By the late nineties, Reg fell in love with Djs such as Doc Martin, DJ Harvey, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, and Mark Farina to name a few that motivated her to begin collecting vinyl and learning how to mix records.
