about
Parrish Smith
No elitism, no prejudices, no genre, hypnotic, tense,
comprehensible, a state of mind. Whilst captivating audiences with music that is both intense and
hypnotic, Parrish Smith embarks on a rather successful journey of creating spaces where walls are torn down and prejudices are non-existent.

During this unique venture into the broad spectrum of electronica,
Smith is able to display his take on various layers of electronic music
with extreme perceptive subtlety.

These uniques spaces created by Parrish Smith are characterized
by his determination to design music that escapes the hold and
biases found in contemporary techno. His music enables you to think
differently whilst letting go of any narrow-minded and limited
perspectives.

Emotion and intensity are the true predominant factors in Parrish
Smith’s music. These two catalysts come to fruition in, not only
contemporary techno but even enable Parrish to maneuver himself
amongst different styles of music. From film scoring to soundtracks,
Parrish Smith recognizes that his strength comes from combining
emotion and intensity, thus resulting in projects that are inspirational
in their truest form.

Both the projects Parrish Smith and the collaboration with Mark van
de Maat as the elusive and non-compromising Volition Immanent
succeed in reaching the ultimate goal: unifying people by creating
spaces where they can be engulfed in music that is free of any bias
or prejudice.

Elitism is for the weak. It is paramount that you always stay true to
yourself and your music. Following these major mantras, Parrish
Smith represents a beautiful and true example of the punk mentality

Years or Denial
Years of Denial is the project of French musician Jerome Tcherneyan, in former times drummer of cult British band Piano Magic and music producer since 1997, and Czech performance & music artist, songwriter, and poet Barkosina Hanusova. Active since 2016, the duo has become known across the globe for their well-crafted sharp productions and electrifying live performances.

Utilizing hardware and a plethora of dub devices combined with Barkosina’s unmistakable vocals, the pair revisit the dark corners of post-punk, goth, new beat, EBM, industrial, and rave culture. Their live shows inject rhythmic beats and pulsating arpeggios with heavy electronics fused with a spacey psychedelic sonic treatment. The duo operates on the dance floor with a powerful performative representation creating an excursive, unforgettable experience.

Well known for their fruitful discography, much of which is created inside the infamous Ark of Noise studios, the project's prolific output includes a variety of releases on Death & Leisure, Pinkman, and Khemia, to name a few, not to mention the front-runner 2xLP Suicide Disco (Veyl 2019), an extraordinary offering that set fire to dance floors everywhere and is also the name the duo coined to describe their sound. The release spawned a massive remix EP featuring reworks from Silent Servant, Orphx, Broken English Club and Alexey Volkov.

In 2023 YOD have released Suicide Disco II (Veyl), a triumphant return, elevating their distinct sound and delivering 12 all-new tracks, which will also return them to the live stage to continue to captivate and further build on the project’s form and legacy.

  • Nanogram

Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his unique style of blending techno, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility of enjoying the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-minded and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more.
