Acid Pauli aka Martin Gretschmann Over the last 20 years Martin Gretschmann has been exploring new fields of music off the mainstream paths: psychedelic, adventurous and full of musicality. In the mid 1990s Martin Gretschmann entered the light of attention with his pseudonym Console, an act he is known for until today. Shortly thereafter, Martin Gretschmann became a part of The Notwist and and added a certain electronic twist to the band. With his solo project Acid Pauli he created several records, remixes and podcast in the last couple of years. Since 2011 Acid Pauli lives in Berlin, where he became a part of the collective The Feathered Sun. After his debut album "Mst“ released on Clown & Sunset in 2012 his second album BLD was released on his in-house record label Ouïe in early 2017. Her unique taste and selective style has taken shape from a diverse path of musical influences. Anjuna Deep, Lost and Found, Saisons, Trndmsk and All Day I Dream are amongst a few. • Dee Diggs

A selectress with no inhibitions digging & choosing parts that build to Adventurous, Energetic, Seductive, & Rapturous sets spanning many genres. Dee Diggs is a DJ and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a life long student of the tenets of House Music. The year 2020 found her at the top of her game after a debut European tour during August 2019, her name was popping up on top bills on a weekly basis in NYC. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant lighting up dancefloors all over; in particular, garnering attention in the queer party scene. This mixes well with her ethos: using her influence to create space for marginalized groups to express & organize themselves. Her aim is to contribute to & sustain more spaces where these groups are valued and thanked by name for their contributions to humanity. Thank the OG Black innovators of House & Techno! Thank you, Disco-era Queens & Queers alike for the theatrics & fanfare of nightlife as we know it! There are homages to these origins alluded to in her taste and most noteworthy mixes. Dee Diggs’ mix for FACT Magazine was released in March 2019 and charted on Pitchfork’s and Resident Advisors’ own Best Mixes of 2019 lists. It cut an arch through dance music’s past and present to convey an interesting melding of Dee’s signature sounds: lyrical storied tracks, sensual club edits, soulful realness, sneaky grooves, passionate thumpers, and nostalgic endings. Her eponymous party, House of Diggs debuted in February 2020 to stir and settle the hearts of all the lovers of house, funk, soul, disco, and R&B in Brooklyn, before the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent club closings curtailed that momentum for 1.5 years. However, 2021 has found her making strides again. Diggs is still crafting stellar DJ mixes for her Soundcloud and radio guest spots, while also building her music production chops in her home studio in Brooklyn. She has resumed curating House of Diggs as an event series at Jupiter Disco, a rotary focused intimate dance floor in Bushwick and also holds a DJ residency at a hi-fi nightclub in Gowanus, BK named Public Records.

  • DJ Fuckoff

̸BIOGRAPHY Who is taking the global bass underground by storm? It’s DJ Fuckoff Bitch! The New Zealand-born DJ, Producer and MC has come a long way since arriving in Berlin with nothing but a dream and a backpack: From smashing warehouse raves, turning streams into fully-fledged dance-off’s or casually mashing-up renowned dance floors, Fuckoff’s relentless positive energy and refreshingly nonchalant style have earned her a serious hype and a loyal following. Breaking through under the unlikely circumstances of full lockdown and after her steamy HÖR debut went viral, Fuckoff’s productions instantly turned heads. With her signature provocative lyrics, breakneck speed and energy-laden twists, standouts like “B.I.M.B.” and her contribution to “Trick” by Dagga have become instantly recognizable DJ favorites that saw releases on the likes of International Chrome & none/such recordings. While her DJ debut had to be postponed for over a year, Fuckoff wasted no time to blow the roof off parties. Dealing dancefloor damage around Berlin & neighbouring countries, she serves a fast-paced mixing style with unapologetic blends across various shades of the hardcore spectrum. On top of her energetic mixing, her standout live PA’s add an extra threat to her shows, regularly sending ravers into a craze. While channeling a distinctively youthful energy, DJ Fuckoff’s roots go way back: Literally growing up at early Bush Doof’s organized by her parents, electronic music has been integral from the earliest of ages. After cutting her teeth as a producer and MC on throwback hip hop productions, her focus soon shifted to electronic music. While being thoroughly informed by previous generations of dance music, DJ Fuckoff's own take – as the name suggests – doesn’t fear eroding genres, standards and stereotypes.

̸BIOGRAPHY DJ, and label boss of Animalia & Cirrus, currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Kia’s speedy rise to notoriety is no surprise. Although young, Kia plays with the confidence and experience expected of a DJ with many more years under their belt. With a keen ear for bass heavy rhythms, idm and the deeper shades of techno and trance, Kia glides through genres and emotions in exciting and often unexpected ways. Her talent for weaving musical narratives has been recognised by local and international labels, having already constructed revered mixes for Nous’klaer, Truants, c- and Patterns of Perception. Whilst the popularity of these mixes clearly proves her ear for telling stories with music, it’s her bubbly presence behind the booth that really makes her stand out. Kia is an open-eared music digger, searching tirelessly for lost obscurities to pair alongside modern finds and hidden gems by local artists. She wields together her intimate knowledge of local music and attuned ear, bringing it all to a masterful fruition in her record label, ‘Animalia’, with an ambient sub label ‘Cirrus’ recently launched. Beginning in 2019, Animalia is now home to a highly reputable powerhouse of releases, mixes and events which pave the way forward for the future of electronic dance music in Australia. ̸BIOGRAPHY DJ and producer based in Leeds, UK. Resident @ On Rotation. 1/2 of Space Cadets w/ Adam Pits As the son of an accomplished jazz guitarist and a pop singer, Lisene (Marlon Morris) was brought up surrounded by a wide spectrum of music from an early age. Living in the cultural melting pot of Brixton, his exposure to DIY soundsystem culture as well as his own musical experimentations with family and friends naturally lead to an interest in both the scientific and musical side of studio work. After relocating to Leeds to study audio engineering, he released two records on the then-unknown but now highly sought after 'day by day' label, informed by 90s techno, IDM, and trance. This was followed by a collaboration with his friend of over 15 years Adam Pits, with their first release as Space Cadets on Seven Hills picking up a huge amount of attention and landing them a string of gigs across both the UK and EU. No stranger to burning the midnight oil to hunt for tracks, Lisene's record bag is of the highest standard, diverse and full of surprises. Channeling the spirit of the 90s through the sound of the future via a stash of 12" obscurities that would be the envy of a collector twice his age, his sets flit around the psychedelic fringes where techno, trance, breaks and electro meet, weaving together a sonic tapestry far greater than the sum of its parts. With multiple Space Cadets EPs about to launch on some of the biggest labels on the scene, as well as his own solo projects piling up, 2020 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Marlon. ̸SELECTED DISCOGRAPHY adam pits & lisene present space cadets - shr002 undercurrents - day by day 002 take it day by day - day by day 001

  • Todd Terje

Following a string of celebrated releases leaning on everything from kitschy euro sounds to deep funk and latin jazz, the relatively new to the scene Todd Terje has already made his mark within dance music circuits. Gems such as the cheese monster “Eurodans” and the latin disco-fuelled edit of Jacko’s “Can’t Help it” under his Tangoterje edit-moniker instantly made industry types and clubbers alike go bananas, and whatever the 25 year old Norwegian puts his fingers on, it always comes out with that crucial blend of musicality and playfulness.,Growing up in the rural village of Mjøndalen, dance music influences were scarce, and no, there was never any Diskoklubb there. Not a lot of obscure disco or acid house in his milk either. However, during the early/mid nineties dance culture sneaked it way into even the most remote parts of Norway, thanks to the popularity of acts like The Prodigy and national radio stations filling prime time slots with underground jocks Olle Abstract and Pål “Strangefruit” Nyhus. On the more personal level, Terje’s sister was a close friend of the late Tore “Erot” Kroknes, and the tapes she brought home to the young Terje became a major source of inspiration. Playing around in his early teens on a crap PC together with his mate Dølle Jølle, Terje made his first attempts on house and jungle, which they played from cassette tapes on junior high school-dances. Maybe too young for old music back then, Terje reckoned that disco was all a bit silly – until Bjørn Torske’s “Sexy Disco” caught his ears in 1999.,Training to become a pianist Terje enrolled at a local music school, but to his disappointment there wasn’t much jazz being taught there. Gradually leaving the musical career path, he later moved on to studying physics at the University of Oslo. Although not longer aspiring to become a pianist, he was by no means over music. In 2001 Terje got in touch with Prins Thomas, who was at the time working at HS Records in Oslo. Thomas soon recognized his potential, and helped pushing Terje in the right directions. Oslo is a small place where like minded folks tend to join forces, and with his thorough musical understanding and nerdy like interest in old and new records spanning from that new Idjut Boys 12" to experimental synth bands very few of us have ever heard of, he soon became one of the key players on the Oslo electronic disco scene. Besides working on his own projects, Terje’s played on some of Prins Thomas’ tracks, and not to mention his remix of the Lindstrøm 12" “Another Station”.,Is it house, funk, techno or disco? Terje is speaks of catchy rhythms, dubby sounds, dreamy synth layers, cinematic moods, a playful approach and searching for that one nerve when asked to describe his music, and the resistance to being pigeonholed is obvious. His next ambition is to make a concept album ala Voyage’s first “around-the-world” release, if he can find time between other projects, studies and DJ gigs. Terje has already played around Europe, and is looking forward to gigs in Japan and NYC this summer. “I both like playing big room/macho style, but at the same time it’s the girls I play for really. So I guess it’s a mixture of high octane, leather homo-disco done up with mambo, coconuts and lipstick”. Definitely one to look out for.

  • WISER.

Surprisingly captivating, occasionally challenging and always prepared – WISER gathers from years of warehouse shenanigans, intentionally tear-jerking journey sets and countless hours of ‘field research’ to create her wildly diverse, though deliciously techno-flavoured performances. Blending her love of throbbing sub bass, punchy kicks and atmospheric synth sounds with the occasional dark psychedelic twist; WISER is inspired by the raw energy and emotion of harder music genres, while infusing her trademark delicate warmth. Her intricately curated (though politely aggressive) mixing style mixed with her ability to get the crowd moving has seen her support Township Rebellion, Pleasurekraft, Pig & Dan, Kolsch, Spektre, Rebūke, Patrice Baumel, Mandragora, Nick Warren, Mimi Love and many more of her favourite artists, both from Australia and beyond.
