Pagoda Beats 004: ECHO is inspired by the fx, a reflection of sound waves back to the listener.
We’re bringing a curation of talented selectors, VJs, and set designers to take on a unique twist on echo. Each set will be a response to the previous, bringing listeners on a sound journey throughout the night - across minimal dark, ambient cosmic house, electronica, and hypnotic techno - and brought to life with echo chambers of light and visual reflection.
VAIBS
Vaibs is a DJ who has solid roots in Singapore's club and party circuit, known to deliver high-energy sets with blistering grooves, deep thumping beats and good vibes. He serves up a dance floor mix of techno, electro, breakbeat, house music, and some unexpected curve balls. He landed a residency at Thugshop Singapore in 2022, where he has been perfecting his craft, blending various genres and creating a niche for himself with his weekly all-night-long sets at Headquarters. He is also regularly playing at Tuff Club and MLDR in Singapore, sharing the stage with several high-profile artists, including Drunken Kong,

Mari navigates through multiple genres trying to find the perfect groove for his listeners. A serious purveryor of the enjoi, he chases moments of dancefloor bliss with selections meant for freedom of expression. Mari is inspired by the communities that dance music brings together. With experiences behind the decks of Potatohead Singapore, Pisco KL, Cherry Discotheque & Moonstone, expect an array of sounds from Mari as he keeps your feet busy to the sounds of funky house and disco all the way to rolling electro, techno and blistering hardgroove.
JAS
From Los Angeles, JAS discovered her passion for music at a young age while playing a myriad of instruments. Now making waves as a selector in the Singapore circuit, JAS seamlessly blends sounds across eclectic house genres, from minimal, electronica, breaks, and hypnotic techno. She has played with various local venues & collectives, including Upstairs at Headquarters, Potato Head, Cherry Kitchen, Wild Pearl, and Last Saturdays.
BUCCI
BUCCI takes audiences on a ride across multiple expanses of genres and styles to keep dancefloor veterans on their feet. The party could start with dark techno, take a pit stop at tropical house before going to Latin American sounds and ending at wherever the night takes his audience.
AMIR
AMIR approaches every set as its own blank canvas. Drawing inspiration from the realms of art, pop culture, and industrial design, he skillfully blends organic and industrial sounds to create his distinct interpretation of afrotech. With a passion for deconstructing genre boundaries, he weaves a seamless tapestry where house merges with hip-hop, techno intertwines with soul, and basslines blend harmoniously with ethereal melodies.
