TASHI
Tashi is a Japanease DJ based in Vancouver. Born in Tokyo to a Japanese father and a Canadian mother, both musicians and old school goa heads from early 90's. He grew up experiencing the underground dance music scene in Japan, going to out door festivals and listening to live music and electronic music since he was young. He started DJing at some local night clubs and out door parties in his home town Miyazaki & Kyushu in 2012. After playing for one year in Japan he moved to Vancouver and became a resident DJ at Vancouver's legendary night club Gorg-O-Mish and Goa Trance Mission.Tashi plays a big variety of underground House music, Techno and Psy-Trance.
DERRICK VNUK
Derrick's music inspires an emotional response. Many have compared his sets to a musical roller coaster; a symphony of happy contrasting sad, major contrasting minor, harmonic contrasting chromatic and everything else in between. They say one needs to put in at least 10, 000 hours of practice to achieve mastery, yet one should never stop there. Even though Derrick has put in that time and more in his 18 years of djing, he continually works to expand and perfect his craft. There are a handful of artists and labels that Derrick always comes back to, but these names are not a prerequisite for one track to be deemed quality enough to make it into his record box or sets. Derrick likes to push sound; he is always searching for new and innovative music. His goal is for a listener never to be familiar with his track selection; he likes to surprise.
