DJ Tsubi

Tsubi is one of Hungary’s oldest and most know, international, traveling psychedelic trance DJs currently. His carrier started in around 2000, when he started to show interest besides his actual underground house and trance style towards goa and psytrance as well. Luckily, quite soon he got the opportunity to show his sophisticated taste and DJ skills to the crowd. In the past 20 years he had the chance to play a lot abroad in countries such as Brazil, Mexico, India, Japan, USA, South Africa and at several festivals like Ozora, Boom, Glade, Hadra or Modem. During the past 6 years he played a key role in making Ozora Festival’s radiOzora a web-radio famous worldwide. Besides his psy-carrier, staying true to his roots, he is still keeping up with slower, club-oriented dance music too, and plays techno, house, disco, but mostly anything between as Tsu.

As the youngest son, growing up in the shadow of his older brother and his heartless gang, Andris came under the spell of colorful machines and press button gadgets very early on in life, creating his own dream world. As he elaborates: “I started using audio editors in 1994, I made house-like music with a program called Fastracker, and we made a remix of Queen’s Another one bites the dust song with a record player and a pc…”, which in itself is enough to suggest fishy aesthetics. Then came goatrance. He first came across this genre in 1996 at a party organized by Kenguru, where he fell in love with the style and following the path of a spoilt dandy, he spent quite a lot of pocket money on vinyl records. It happened in 1998 that Wegha’s name also appeared on the lineup of the Halásztelek Party, regarded cultic today as the Hungarian pioneer of open-air party series, and then stayed there throughout a whole decade, for what seemed an eternity...

DUST (ITA)

Dust’s unique sound has been released worldwide since 2008. Melting groovy, full-on oriented basslines and rhythms with night time psychedelic sounds. Dust has played live across the globe in countries such as Australia, USA, Brazil, Israel, Russia, India, South Africa, New Caledonia, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, Austria, Cyprus, Portugal and Turkey. The debut album ” I don’t like psychedelics” was released in February 2012 on Looney Moon Records, as well as the new album ” My friends love psychedelics” released in March this year. Alongside his Solo project, Dust is part of a few other collaboration projects such as Foam with Assioma, Dustinface with Phase, Comadust with Comasector (Hypogeo) and Mindshuffle with Ilai.

In the early 2000s he discovered psy-trance, fell in love with it and since then he became a regular guest of psy-trance festivals and partys ( Ozora, SUN, Transylvania Calling, Solar Seeds, Welcome to Goa ) spinning for thousands of genre’s lovers. Thal aka Talan Zsolt, started at early ages playing all kinds of music , until the year 2000 when he met psytrance and fell in love with it. Since then he played at many partys, festivals in Europe like ,Solar united Natives ( S.U.N. Festival ), Ozora Festival, Solar Seeds, Burning Mountain, Transylvania Calling, Welcome to Goa and many more.When in 2010 made a trip to India, he had the chance to play at a few partys in Goa, and started learning and experimenting with producing. He is playing pumping progressive trance during daytime, twisting psytrance, twilight and dark during night time, and chill-out.

The Cross club is a uniquely designed multicultural centre which houses a real crossroads of cultures and a variety of styles and genres in the centre of Prague Holešovice. For many years, the Cross club has been an integral part of the Prague cultural scene, respected not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. Its fascinating futuristic design, with many unusual artefacts, has given the club its unique identity. The Cross club´s space offers a wide range of possibilities. Music dramaturgy is focused on unconventional music genres both in live and electronic form. The Cross club presents high-quality bands and artists from the Czech republic as well as from abroad, ranging from dubstep to hardcore. Besides musical dramaturgy, another essential component of Cross is the presentation of cross-genre alternative culture, focusing on young theatre companies, authors reading their works, travelling gabfests, screenings of alternative films as well as current cinema, education through documentary films and discussions, and last but not least the afternoon theatre performances for children: all of them for minimum entrance fee or completely free.
