DANIEL BORTZ
It was the mid-1990s, at the height of techno in Munich-Riem, which housed the ideal and other legendary clubs, when Daniel Bortz entered the endless and relentless loop of stoically pumping bass drum. He was born in Berlin in 1981, but shortly afterwards his family moved to Bavaria where he grew up. For the past 13 years, he has been forging his deep beats, furrows and tracks to the world from his base of operations in Augsburg. And it is precisely this club that Bortz has been embellishing with his releases for some time, with the right goal for his house- nostalgia, hypecraving g-spot. He began his training as a producer with the label of Munich Pastamusik with whom he released his first recording of 2007. Since then he is refining his sound between nostalgic-house , dance music transferred from digital, sample insanity and a healthy dose of eclecticism.
