    We are so pumped to present the funkiest Piknic of the season with 2 international live acts!
    Techno would not exist in the same space today without the original Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson and his music under the E-dancer banner built a sound that transcended dance floors across the globe.

    This is the 30th anniversary of the E- Dancer project and Piknic will host an exclusive Australian performance.

    You don't know Detroit techno until you've experienced an E-Dancer show and heard where it all began 🍇🍑
    And if that’s not enough, Mr. G returns to Piknic Electronik after his blinder of a performance with Moodymann a few seasons ago! Get your dancing shows on as Mr G takes control of the stage with his signature 808 kick drum and wild vocal stabs!🍉🥥

    • Kevin Saunderson

      His influence runs deep, through both adopted hometown of Detroit, and music culture as a whole: as one of the Belleville Three, the high school trio which also includes Juan Atkins and Derrick May, he irreparably changed the face of electronic music; with Inner City, he gave it some of its most memorable tunes. Saunderson’s comparatively late start as a producer – kicking off in ’87 under the moniker of Kreem, with E-Dancer and Reese two of the more well-known names to follow – inadvertently gifted him a headstart. With the eruption of house music a few hours down the I-94 in Chicago, Saunderson married Detroit’s raw sound to more tactile, pop-leaning sensibilities. Inner City was born, and global success followed.
