Much of that time was spent DJing and producing through the cracks of her “normal” life at community events and in her living room. But in the last few years, she’s realized it’s more than that — sharing the music she loves with the world is her calling. Since that realization and shifting her career to include more full-time DJing, her popularity has exploded seemingly out of nowhere onto the San Francisco house music scene. In actuality it has been a 20-year journey, and her technical skills and impeccable music selection speaks to her deep tribal knowledge that only experience can manifest. A member of the Airpusher Collective, you can catch her at many Burning Man events and house music establishments in San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Cruz — including Halcyon, the Midway, Public Works, Monarch, and underground warehouses.

Known for her dynamic performances, ranging from Disco House to Booty Breaks, divaDanielle started her life as a DJ after catching a record that Darren Emerson threw into the crowd in 2003. What she lacks in height, she makes up for in spunk and red-headed fury! Combining a love of unicorns with a fierce desire to promote women in EDM, she has risen to the top of the California underground, branding herself 'Music 4 Unicorns.' As co-founder of the popular Summer LA day party series, Shade, she developed this distinctive multi-genre sound. This year, Diva was added to the InStereo Recordings label with her debut tune, "GhettoWork." She brings along her trademark sound filled with dirty vocals and bouncy driving beats. Let’s just say, they don’t call her DIVA for nothing!

It’s tough to say more about DJ Dan than what is most likely known by just about any dance music fan that has ever taken interest in the genre. Female DJ from San Francisco Bay Area, California: DJ Instructor at Blue Bear School of Music and Today's Future Sound. Resident DJ for Virgin Hotel SF. Being known for genre-bending and crowd-pleasing, she has mastered the art of reading the crowd by setting the mood with tasteful dance music. Growing up listening to breakbeats, techno, and house music along with discovering classic rock, jazz, hip-hop, 80s, and funk music she learned how to incorporate all of these elements together to create some serious flavor. Her parents were both opera singers so she was raised with a great appreciation and passion for music and vinyl. She studied piano and violin throughout her youth and sang with her Highschool jazz band. She got interested in electronic music by going to local underground raves in San Francisco and saw her first female DJ perform named Melanie and then became inspired to learn how to use turntables herself to express her love for music.
