For our second venture into Mary's Underground, UNDISCLOSED is excited to welcome its first international act since what feels like a lifetime ago.
German techno duo SHDW & Obscure Shape are making their way to our shores and are set to blow us all away and show us why the whole world has been talking about them for years.
Launching their collaborative career in 2014, SHDW & Obscure Shape are at the forefront of a new generation of artists leading the resurgence of timeless techno. Presenting a maturity well beyond their years in both their production efforts and track selection, the duo have become firm favourites for the modern audience and yet still present as an untapped act, with the capacity to enter into the upper echelon of the beloved genre.
Joining the Stuttgart duo will be Laura King, who hails from the Southern shores of Australia and has performed at an array of festivals, events and club shows across the country. Combining influences from early tribal techno, hard trance and acid, Laura’s music creates a nostalgic yet innovative performance and the uproar of a good old classic dance party.
Recent shows include Babylon Festival, AXE Festival - Marika Rossa & Friends, Piknic Electronic closing party with Nina Kraviz and Nastia, PURE with Carl Cox, Obsidian Festival, Esoteric Festival, Elements Festival as well as residencies for Bloom nightclub and a stack of other events with her agency ‘Atom’, as well as at Piknic Electronik in February 2022 where she will be supporting Victor Ruiz and Luigi Madonna and at Pitch festival in March 2022.
Resident Jas Manning will be on supporting duties. Over the last year, Jas has continued to hone his skills presiding over dance floors throughout Sydney, and as one of the three members of the UNDISCLOSED crew can always be relied upon to get the night moving in the right direction.
