    Not so long ago, Discipline founder, Sophie Foster left Bangkok as she moved on to green pastures but what she did was she found new talent at each party that she hosted. One special talent with a true success story is none other than Wild Thai who has now become one of Bangkok's prolific Djs and due to this meteoric rise, she gave him the ownership of her beloved property, Discipline. He has decided to host his first event for this brand with industry famous DJs such as Coran and Kori Mafi and we at Mustache, can't wait to see how he is going to rock this event!

      With his busy DJ schedule, event company Kollectiv, local hit Kolour and weekly club night Family Wednesdays, Coran can be seen as one of the front runners in Bangkok’s growing music scene. His devotion comes naturally to a man who is first and foremost a music lover at heart. With over 10 years consumed by a thirst for electronic music, the Melbourne-born entity has worn many caps as a DJ. You might catch him behind the decks at Fashion events for Chanel, Porsche Design, CC Double O, and Esquire Magazine. Or head down to Bangkok’s home of the underground, Glow Nightclub to see him opening minds and hearts in his true element. As a music lover he’s always stayed open to different styles and aesthetics. As an artist, he’s always allowed himself to express his take on each genre – it’s true that with Coran, you never know what to expect, other than consistently fresh and unique output.

      The party kicks off from Friday to Saturday from 9 pm and goes until late and the musical programming is, to sum it up in one word, techno. This could be anything from melodic techno to a deeper house sound. Bangkok’s usual suspects are on regular rotation, from DJs like Dan Buri, Kuroten, Mendy Indigo.... Occasionally, we have some international DJs like Marc Marzenit from Cocoon, Nakadia, Citizen Kain, Daniel Sanchez, Budakid (Erinmusika), Lea Dobricic and also Sven Vath to our Mustache Takeover Live RCA. The vibe is cool, you walk in and it has somewhat of a dark and cozy living room atmosphere happening but with banging techno and a bar. The crowd is mostly local, local as in both Thai and expats who call Bangkok home and this is the biggest difference between it and the only other late night/early morning electronic after hours. At Mustache, you’re grooving with like minded folks and the result is a totally different atmosphere.
