̸BIOGRAPHY A pillar of the new wave of queer underground parties, Aaron is co-founder of the Honcho and Hot Mass collectives in Pittsburgh. Additionally, the Honcho Campout festival is his blitz of the forest, a pinnacle event of queer American dance music. A pillar of the new American wave of queer underground clubbing, Aaron is co-founder of the infamous Hot Mass club in Pittsburgh. A loud, sleazy after-hours built inside of a gay sauna where anything goes until 7am every weekend. At Hot Mass, he programs both the queer Honcho party as well as the 20-years long techno party, Humanaut. More recently, Honcho has become known for their annual Honcho Campout festival - a tight-knit queer blitz of the Pennsylvania forest that has become a pinnacle event of underground American dance music. His sound is the American Midwest, sliding effortlessly between house and techno – everything sharing the common threads of heavy kicks, funk, and a slathering of the psychedelic.

  • BEIGE

Just the hits. Unafraid to dig deep and also play the hits, Detroit-based deejay BEIGE has caught the ears of Boiler Room, T4TLUVNRG, The Bunker, Sublimate, Jack Dept. & other in-the-know crews. A fast-rising talent in the North American queer underground, they have become a regular fixture on the forward-thinking Midwest/East Coast party circuit. From their homebase in Detroit, they host the monthly show Chaotic Neutral on The Lot Radio, organize educational workshops for DJs of marginalized genders as a member of Seraphine Collective, and provide local support to internationally touring acts. The BEIGE sound is anything but—they are known for smooth mixing and colorful, unpretentious sets that whip between genres and tempos: big melodies, big vocals, big Moods. Beyond the usual house-techno-disco touchpoints, expect to hear psychedelic gospel, leftfield club and ballroom, thizz-face electro and UK/global bass, sprinkled with cheeky pop references. Their dramatic approach has earned the support of dance music institutions including Hot Mass, Nowadays, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Elsewhere, and Charivari Festival. On a Funktion-One or in a field under the full moon, BEIGE strives to honor the dancefloor as a space for healing and transformation.

  • Clarisa Kimskii

̸BIOGRAPHY DJ/Producer Merge/ L.A.G. Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT and Nowadays, Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Tresor, About Blank, Output, Griessmuehle, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout and Sustain-Release have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. The saga continues with juicy bits on the horizon.

Juana has enticed crowds all over the world at venues such as Berghain, WAS, De School, Basement, Nowadays, and numerous underground warehouses. Over the past several years, Juana has played alongside DJs such as, DVS1, Jamaica Suk, Perc, Headless Horseman, 999999999, Efdemin, and DJ Stingray. Juana joined the Discwoman roster in 2017 and is a founding member of the DC QT BIPOC collective NOXEEMA JACKSON since 2021. Juana originally hails from the city of Chicago. She started out like most, as a random kid on the dance floor every week at places like The Generator and Boom Boom Room, and has been DJing house, techno, and disco parties since roughly 2001. Juana moved to DC in 2003 and began hosting weekly live internet radio shows on HandzOnRadio (Baltimore) and Cyberjamz (Tampa) and playing parties in the DC deep house scene, upping her skills alongside legendary DJs like Sam “the Man” Burns,” and at clubs including Red and the DC Sanctuary. Juana started obsessively collecting disco and early house records in the late 90s and eventually developed an undying penchant for straight-ahead techno and darker shades of Chicago underground acid and deep house of the 80s and 90s. Over the past several years, Juana has made her mark in DC as one of only a handful of techno DJs, as a member of the founding squad of the Sequence collective, led by Ron Jackson. Sequence was the first underground party committed to consistently showcasing local and global techno DJs and crafting a dark, dangerous, sometimes hellishly uncomfortable party vibe hitherto unavailable in the DC area. As a producer, her first release “Discipline Issues” was released as part of a compilation on Katie Rex’s Bound label, and her first independent EP “Floating” landed in 2020. Her most recent EP “Peaks” was released in July 2021, and she also appeared on the TRAX ONLY Soft Touch compilation in spring of 2021 and the Neighborhoods Vol. 1 compilation on World Building in fall of 2021. She is currently working on her first full-length album project for release in 2023.

  • Kangding Ray

There are few musicians who manage to explore the convergence between techno and experimental as successfully as David Letellier. Kangding Ray’s complex sound aesthetic tests boundaries, evolving tirelessly in its exploration of texture, rhythm, and sound design. KR has remixed artists such as Martin Gore and Ben Frost on Mute, Battles on Warp, Oscar Mulero on Polegroup or Inigo Kennedy on Token. Letellier’s foundations in rock and musique concrete give his music a vitality and uniqueness that has won fans the world over, from discerning avant-garde–electronica listeners, all the way to devoted clubbers. Those who have been following Letellier since his debut album, 2006’s Stabil, will recognize not only his meticulous and constantly developing approach to sound design, but also the conceptual gravity behind his releases. Through a string of recent EP’s and albums, culminating with the critically acclaimed “Solens Arc”, KR showed his ability to keep his artistic approach while delivering direct and powerful club-leaning tracks and darkly cinematic soundscapes. On 2015’s “Cory Arcane”, he pushed the limits of his sound even further. Relinquishing standard rhythmic structures and conventional tonal models, he delivered what is perhaps his most sophisticated release yet; a raw and visceral universe, allowing a more fluid dialogue between soul and machines. 2017’s “HYPER OPAL MANTIS” released on Stroboscopic Artefacts heralds a new era for Kangding Ray, where he explores the tension between the natural and artificial, the body and mind, which are central themes in electronic music in general, and Techno in particular. The means of creation, focused around technology and interactions with machines, contrast with the emotional response to sound, the mystical ritual of collective dancing, and the ethos of liberation and tolerance embedded in the culture it has produced. As he describes it himself in a recent interview : “I’ve been evolving since a couple of years at the outer fringes of the club culture, where it overlaps with different experimental and avant-garde genres. While i intend to continue to explore that zone as a free maverick, i also wanted to give something back to the scene, something strong, beautiful and functional at the same time, while retaining enough personality to be exciting.” ( Adapted from words by Vincent Morris)

  • Kilopatrah Jones

̸BIOGRAPHY The Dancer’s DJ Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future. Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. You’ll step a little harder with Kilopatrah Jones. Words by Sacha Madadian

  • Kim Ann Foxman

̸BIOGRAPHY Kim Ann Foxman / Firehouse Recordings / self:timer / Pleasure Planet The short-story version of Kim Ann Foxman’s trajectory is pretty simple: An island-born kid dreams of a life in clubland, hits the big city and, with a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work, emerges as one of dance music’s leading figures. But it’s the details that transforms her singular tale into something far more fascinating than the standard-issue success story. After all, what other DJ can lay claim to the title of Miss Teen Filipina Hawaii? How many can say that their first job in nightlife was when in high school, serving as the in-house dancer and serving rave smoothies at an all-ages club? How many, after moving to New York by way of San Francisco in the early ’00s, can say that they helped to rejuvenate the city’s then-stale nightlife via her residency at one of the best parties ever held in a hole-in-the-wall gay bar, the Mad Clams affair? How many have tasted stardom as one of the original members of the scene-making dance-music collective Hercules and Love Affair? Exactly one, and it’s Kim Ann. But it’s a safe bet that she would have made it to where she is today without those biographical eccentricities, because her near-classical take on jacking club rhythms is hard to resist, sounding as fantastic at a full-scale mega-rave as it does at a grimy basement bash. It’s a universally appealing sound that’s taken her around the world—the past few years have seen her playing such hallowed halls as Fabric, Berghain, DC-10, Concrete and Contact, all while holding down a residency at her hometown’s Good Room. A lifetime in clubbing has informed Kim Ann’s studio work as well, with her music—much of it coming out on her own Firehouse label—synthesizing the best elements of raw house, propulsive 303 material, emotive techno and even the occasional hint of trance into a hugely satisfying whole that lives somewhere between the weird and the wonderful. And then there’s her latest project, Pleasure Planet, which sees her teaming with Andrew Potter and Brian Hersey to add sparkling touches of extraterrestrial new wave to the mix on her new sublabel, self:timer. It’s yet another twist in the continuing saga of Kim Ann Foxman—and, we’d wager, there are plenty more to come. Bio Written By Bruce Tantum

  • Lena Willikens

Amsterdam based DJ and Producer Lena Willikens. Resident at Salon Des Amateurs, Düsseldorf. Artist on Dekmantel Rec. Radio broadcaster of "Lightning Conductor" on NTS Radio. Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits. When she’s behind the decks, even her biggest fans often have no idea exactly what she’s playing, and that’s part of the magic. Like all DJs, Willikens of course has a passion for records and is always on the hunt for elusive bits of music, but as an artist, her work doesn’t hinge on any one track or even a handful of tracks. She’s after something bigger, something that’s truly transportive for those on the dancefloor, and the tracks she plays – whether they’re bizarre slices of synth exploration, some ominously churning proto-industrial stomp, or something else that simply defies classification – are all parts of a larger, more psychically satisfying whole. These days, however, Willikens' radio adventures happen on NTS, where she pilots the monthly Lightning Conductor program. Now based in Amsterdam, her curatory prowess prompted an invite from Dekmantel to put together the fifth installment of their acclaimed Selectors compilation series, and she also contributed a track to the label’s run of all-star 10th anniversary EPs. As a remixer, she's been tapped in recent years to rework the likes of Lena Platonos, rRoxymore, S U R V I V E, Simian Mobile Disco, and Ana Helder, amongst others. And amidst all this activity, she's also been busy with Phantom Kino Ballett, a collaboration with artist Sarah Szczesny that lands somewhere between immersive audio-visual experience and performance art, allowing Willikens to indulge her transportive impulses in a completely new way. Nevertheless, it’s in the DJ booth where Willikens continues to make the biggest impact. As of late, she’s forged a particularly potent partnership with fellow sonic explorer and Salon des Amateurs alum Vladimir Ivkovic, the two engaging in a sort of mind meld that brings together their shared love of electronic music’s darkest and most bizarre corners. • Marco Shuttle

Marco Shuttle has always achieved a lot with a little, and that is the singular aesthetic that stands him apart. His cinematic techno sounds are unusually organic: they build pressure in subtle ways and his meticulous grooves never fail to take listeners on a trip to somewhere new and exciting. As a result of this, he has become a firm favourite amongst the techno cognoscenti and has released on some of the most revered labels of the day, from famed New York club The Bunker’s new label to Peter van Hoesen’s untouchable Time To Express via Clone SOS and his regular home, Eerie Records. Italian born but London based, where he also gained his MA in Fashion at St Martin’s. What ties his creative work together is a focus on abstract yet organic texture and the same thing defines his tightly woven DJ sets from fabric to Berghain to Labyrinth in Japan. His eclectic cerebral sound takes cues from jazz and musique concrete as much as it does from acid house and Detroit techno.

just adventuring through space and time...chill stuff Marteka Fair’s love for underground club music — specifically techno — burgeoned at an early age, placing her behind the decks for the first time in 2014. Before long, Fair became a staple in the scenes she frequented, specifically those in Washington, DC, San Francisco, and throughout North Carolina. The eclectic nature of her DJ sets are not a reflection of a refusal to commit to one genre. Rather, they point toward exceptional taste and a uniquely encyclopedic love of club music, which is front and center in her productions and multi-genre mixes. Since 2016, Marteka Fair’s unusual approach — fueled by a combination of her synesthesia and a love for crate-digging — have earned her gigs alongside techno legends such as Perc, Dustin Zahn, and Marcel Fengler, as well as a mini-tour in Lima, Peru, and closing duties at Flash in Washington, DC. Her most recent release, “Maths,” dropped on DC-born label Eklektik Elektrik on December 7th, “and reflects her sonic curiosity and willingness to get gritty with sound” (EE).

For over a decade, Max Gardner has dedicated himself to techno. He's a constant presence in the Bay Area scene, playing clubs and warehouse parties, hosting his own events, and producing his own hammerhead machine music, performing all-hardware live sets solo and in collaboration. In 2011, Gardner co-founded Direct To Earth, a party and event series. Through his work with DTE, Gardner has hosted, promoted, and DJed beside some of the world's most well-regarded techno talents — in dirty warehouses, hazy afterparties, and top-tier clubs. His DJ sets run through the gamut of techno in its purest forms, inspired by the heavy, synth-forward sounds of Detroit and Berlin classics and new-school players from the Netherlands, Latin America, and the U.S. Midwest. He focuses on driving rhythms and intricate, long-form mixing — hypnotic blends that provide just the right amount of subtlety to whipped-up dancers. Gardner has also been producing his own material for years, and in 2018, he released his first 12", an EP entitled "Broken Knives & Pinkies" on Bay Area imprint Excise. Besides his solo productions, Gardner also collaborates with San Francisco hardware technician Marc Kelechava as Transpose, an all-hardware techno duo whose debut performance tore the roof off a MUTEK San Francisco afterparty. He's been busy for years, but Max Gardner's just getting started in 2019. Watch this space.

As a record collector, DJ, promoter and producer, Craig has been passionately involved in underground music culture for over 30 years. When asked “What do you spin?” Minneapolis artist, Craig Lambert (aka Focus) has always answered “Records.” Craig started collecting records over 40 years ago and has spent nearly three decades passionately sharing those records and his love of music with dance floors across the Midwest. Through hundreds of club, lounge, and warehouse appearances, Craig and his crew, The Disco Devils, have carved a unique niche in the crowded, competitive DJ culture. With his simple “2 turntables and a mixer” approach to DJing and his vast knowledge of music history, Craig is able to seamlessly weave the old with the new, creating cohesive sets spanning multiple genres and generations. With a “focus” on the roots of modern dance music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, Craig’s collection of 12” singles is world class. Before each gig he spends hours browsing his archives, pulling hundreds of potential candidates for the upcoming session. He ultimately whittles the selections down to a few crates of records that will allow him to create a unique musical experience, custom tailored to each event. Music production, a study that began for him over twenty years ago, has now moved to the forefront with live performances and releases under the moniker “MMC” (aka Midnight Music Club). Craig’s timeless yet distinctly “old school” sound is reminiscent of early Chicago and Detroit pioneers, with a blend of deep house, techno and electro that is uniquely his own. 2017 saw the vinyl release of his first published work on Chicago’s “Descendants of the Deep” label. In 2018 he is honored with a forthcoming solo EP on Headphoniq, another highly regarded Chicago publisher where he is label mates with some of the most respected producers in underground dance music history.

Mike Parker’s experimental and ritualistic approach sets him apart from the rest and in a time of over-saturation he is still one of those few artists whose sound you can spot in a heartbeat. For 20 plus years, he has perfected a unique interpretation of techno, instantly recognisable to contemporary audiences, which has earned him a legendary global status inspiring the likes of Donato Dozzy and many of his peers for decades now. Mike first stepped onto the scene in ‘97 with two fiery EP’s that would set the tone for his future musical endeavours. The following year would see the birth of his label Geophone which became the outlet for his long-running series of 12” records and debut album which all played a pivotal role in establishing his sonic persona. Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and after earning his stripes in the US Parker’s productions would cross the Atlantic and find themselves on some of Europe’s most established labels. Over the past ten years, the likes of Tresor, Semantica and Spazio Disponibile have all played host to a number of his EP’s while his second studio album found a home with the mighty Prologue back in 2013 to much acclaim. In 2019 he will relight the fire with his Geophone imprint and continue to leave his mark on techno by doing so. As a DJ, Parker rose through the mid-1990s as a mainstay in the US’s emerging warehouse party scene. His hypnotic, abstract and hard-hitting approach to performing earned him a highly respected reputation and further increased his devoted following. His wealth of experience in the booth has been acquired with regular performances across North America, Europe and Asia making Parker a well-seasoned underground veteran. From his humble beginnings to the present-day Mike Parker has amassed an impressive list of credentials paving his own lane with a unique style that breathes innovation yet honours the true values of techno. And after 20 years in the game, Mike is still a dominant figure that continues to carve his own niche in the ever-expanding world of electronic music.

  • Sister Zo

̸BIOGRAPHY Kansas City-born Zoey Shopmaker, aka Sister Zo, has long been on a path entirely of her own making. After getting her start performing at underground poetry events in her hometown, she eventually moved on to playing live beat sets during open mic nights at one of KC's most pivotal queer nightlife institutions of the 21st century, the Uptown Arts Bar. Occasionally she'd wander upstairs to Niche, a 100-cap club with a legendary sound system known as the Meta HiFi. There she got her first taste of the sounds of the UK bass continuum and the LA beat scene, with its prominent figureheads like Flying Lotus, Ras G and Shlohmo. Ever the nomad, she would spend her mid-twenties traveling, flitting between cities like New York and LA and the mountainous terrain of the Colorado Rockies. At 26 years old, she left behind a stable career in psychotherapy to pursue her creative dreams. This would lead her back to Niche where a ravenous desire to evolve as an artist connected her with Peter Anthony, aka Coughman, who ran the independent KC collective and label, Intelligent Sound. Soon Anthony encouraged Zo and her friends Mazzy Mann and Lorelei Kretsinger to build a platform of their own. In October 2017, the three of them founded the UN/TUCK queer/trans collective and record label. Over the next two years, they tirelessly built UN/TUCK into an internationally recognized platform, releasing their own music and organizing shows and parties curated specifically for trans and queer people in Kansas City. Under the name BTRFLY, Zo produced her own LA-inspired beats and rapped over them in her sets. As she delved further into the realms of Chicago house, early 2000s UK dubstep, and the hybrid sounds of Hessle Audio, Hyperdub and Idle Hands, she discovered a profound love for DJing and a different kind of production. Now based in Brooklyn, she has made definitive creative statements in 2022, releasing her debut EP, Screw Cheek, on acclaimed UK club label, Scuffed Recordings, and a follow-up EP, Freak Shift, on Martyn's hallowed 3024 imprint, as well as a slew of national bookings at Bunker NY, Texture Detroit, Sole Rehab, clubs like Nowadays, Good Room and Kremwerk, festivals like Slingshot and Honcho Campout and many more on the horizon. It's clear that Zo has solidified her place as an emerging artist firmly in her own lane, with tracks that span the continuum of UK bass and North American techno and house, and mixes that seamlessly capture and defy her genres of interest, blending deep dark percussive bass and broken beat with blistering techno, psychedelic house, east coast club and more. ̸SELECTED DISCOGRAPHY Screw Cheek EP - Scuffed Recordings Freak Shift EP - 3024

  • Space Afrika

̸BIOGRAPHY Space Afrika With their slow-stepping, spacious urban dubscapes, Space Afrika harness ambient, Detroit techno and shades of early nineties Sheffield with a fresh and open approach to composition — this is dub techno stripped-down, sealed in a time capsule and sent back from the near future. Driving, echo-laden deep beats form the bed for a heavily subaquatic sound palette with undercurrents of cybernetic dread. Friends for almost 2 decades, the two Joshuas formed Space Afrika after years of listening to music together, sequestered by harsh Northern winters. Heavily inspired by the industrial architecture of Northwest England and notions of travel, their sonic framework evokes images of rust and disintegrating concrete, and sensations of movement and redemption — exuding a distorted analogue soul offering escape into their overcast skies. Closely associated with Brighton/London label, Where to Now?, who slink along a vintage axis of post-punk, On-U Sound, minimal and no wave influences, Space Afrika's diverse and creative radio shows (notably their residencies on NTS and Reform Radio) also display a breadth of curiosities in experimental and avant-garde music, old and new.

  • Vladimir Ivkovic

„The challenging sets he delivers are not always easy, but almost always ingenious“ Strange Sounds From Beyond Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ. He’s more than that of course, but as his essence, Ivkovic is someone with a particularly unique talent for selecting records and weaving them into a larger – and often unusually compelling – narrative. Born and raised in Belgrade, he first dabbled in DJing as a teenager in the mid ’80s, but it was only after leaving Yugoslavia (to study in Germany) and later coming back for a summertime visit that he truly immersed himself in the craft, taking up position behind the decks during a series of impromptu parties at a lakeside restaurant owned by his parents. From there, he spent much of the next two decades honing his skills while throwing events like Selected and Substance that played host to a cross-section of boundary-pushing DJs, long before it was fashionable to do so. Eventually, Ivkovic found his musical and spiritual home at Salon des Amateurs, an unassuming spot in Düsseldorf that’s gradually proven to be wildly influential, giving rise in recent years to otherworldly talents like Lena Willikens, Tolouse Low Trax, Jan Schulte and many others, including Ivkovic himself. With its small size, Salon des Amateurs provided something of an open platform, a place where true music lovers could experience DJs exploring sounds and genres that strayed far from traditional electronic dance music tropes. That same adventurous spirit has found its way into Ivkovic’s curation of Offen Music, a label he launched in 2015. Although the imprint’s output is all but impossible to neatly categorize – experimental Serbian rarities sit alongside ambient excursions and moody synth-pop in the label’s catalogue – the label’s open-minded approach and embrace of off-kilter sounds perfectly encapsulates Ivkovic’s artistic temperament. In recent years, that temperament has increasingly found devoted followers all around the globe. Simply put, Ivkovic has become a staple of the European club circuit; despite his many years in the humble confines of Salon des Amateurs, he’s proven to be just as comfortable at celebrated nightspots like De School (Amsterdam), Berghain (Berlin), Nitsa (Barcelona), Kaiku (Helsinki), Sub Club (Glasgow), Phonox (London), Fold (London), Corsica Studios (London), The White Hotel (Manchester), Mutabor (Moscow), Pacha (Ibiza), Blitz (Munich), Zukunft (Zurich), Concrete (Paris), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Circoloco (Ibiza) and others too numerous to list. He’s no stranger to touring either, having taken extended DJ trips to Canada (September 2017), Asia (July 2018), Australia (January 2018), Brazil and Colombia (March 2018), USA (2019, April 2022), Brazil (September 2022). Even the festival circuit has come calling, inviting Ivkovic and his inventive rhythms to large-scale events like Primavera Sound, Unsound, World Minimal Music, Houghton, Strange Sounds from Beyond, Dekmantel, Flow, TodaysArt, Robot, Waking Life, Terraforma, Dancity, Positive Education, Elevate, Love International, Dimensions, Kala, Sziget, The Crave … and that’s just a partial list. Still, despite all of these international adventures, Ivkovic has kept his focus on music, especially the dark and often psychedelic sounds that lurk in its unexplored corners. Each month, he distilled some of that love into Lunatic Love Songs, a much-loved and sonically borderless program on Red Bull Radio. He still does it with his frequent contributions for Noods Radio, Kiosk Radio or Oddity Radio to name a few. Whether he’s broadcasting on the radio or piloting the dancefloor, Ivkovic is someone who applies a curatorial mindset and a deep love of music to all of his creative exploits. Yes, he’s a DJ, but he’s so much more than that; he’s a storyteller, a connoisseur and, most importantly, an artist.
