  • DJ M3

DJ M3 (Makes Me Move),has had a significant impact on the San Francisco music scene and spreads his mixture of Disco, House, Techno & Tech House for the movers. Manny staked his everlasting claim in the Bay Area music community in 1990 as a key promoter and DJ, roles for which he took on the abbreviated appellation of M3, short for “Makes Me Move”. Begun as a fluid, down-tempo approach, M3 eventually evolved his sound to the expression of house and techno bangers he is known for today. Manny quickly developed his own legendary party brand Green Gorilla Lounge and progressed to sharing the decks with industry icons with bookings across the globe. This further developed Manny’s acumen for rhythm and cultural finesse, priming him for several collaborations with Phil ‘Rene’ Collis of Bachelor’s of Science and setting the stage for their alliance as the stealthy duo Sleight of Hands. Having seen releases through his own label Green Gorilla Lounge, as well as Smoke ’N’ Mirrors, Om, Sirenum, and Chillin’ Records. M3 has notably performed at the San Francisco Treasure Island Music Festival 2014, Outsidelands 2013, and Coachella 2013 as Sleight of Hands. With past projects including the Tweakin’/ Black Pancake record shop and Triple Crown Nightclub under his belt, Manny has moved forward embodying his passion for music as of the Father of record label Green Gorilla Lounge and co-owner of SF nightlife staple Monarch nightclub along with Chris Smith of Om Records. When not in the studio, M3 can be found tearing it up pushing his signature sound DJing in clubs, bars, and undergrounds all over the city. Presenting with Green Gorilla, Manny also co-hosts the annual “Fully Loaded” in collusion with the infamous Sunset Crew. Suffice it to say, there is no doubt M3 is thoroughly invested in his lifelong relationship with the 1s and 2s. Looking to the future- M3’s collaborative project Sleight of Hands is looking forward to a release this April 2015.

Living in San Francisco, he’s working to share his sound with everyone around him, and ensuring that it won’t soon be forgotten. • Juan Atkins

A major electronic music pioneer from Detroit, Juan appeared behind aliases such as Cybotron, Model 500, and Infiniti releasing many classics of Detroit techno. The 1982 electro track "Clear", recorded by Atkins and Rick Davis as Cybotron, is often considered the first proto-techno track. Continuing to experiment by fusing the extra-terrestrial funk of Parliament Funkadelic with the futuristic rhythms and hard math of Kraftwerk and the progressive dance theorems proposed by Giorgio Moroder, the Model 500 12"s on his own label Metroplex laid the blueprint for Detroit techno. Along with the tracks made by two schoolmates from the grade below, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, Detroit techno quickly made its way across the atlantic and immediately sparked the emerging rave culture and soon after the entire global dance community.

  • Mystic Bill

Bill's move to Chicago in 1988 was crucial in the development of his DJ & Production career. Growing up in Miami, he had been involved in various parts of the music industry, from working at Flamingo Record Pool (run by Bill Kelly of WMC Fame), to playing guitar for the band "Life In Sodom" (80’s Synth/Goth Band). His interest in both House & Industrial music inspired him to make his move to the Windy City, and as far as timing, it couldn't have been any better. Bill quickly became involved in the night scene with residency at clubs like Shelter Nightclub, Crobar, & Smart Bar. Bill is a key figure in Chicago’s second wave of House & Techno producers. He’s considered an big influence by Dj's like Black Madonna, Kink, Axel Boman, & Matrixxman. His styles vary from current Detroit Techno & Chicago Acid, to rare House & Italo Disco tracks. Currently he frequents clubs like Panorama Bar in Berlin, and holds a weekly residency, as well as a monthly in Miami.

  • Vin Sol

Vin Sol *has been taking club-goers on a trip with his tracks and sets for the past two decades. A ridiculously talented producer with the catalog to back it up. Chances are you have already sweat through your shirt to any one of his releases on Unknown to the Unknown, Clone, Icee Hot, Delft, Honey Soundsystem, NonPlus or Ultramajic, if you've happened to set foot in a nightclub in the past six years. As regular guest on Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1, his sets expertly span the genres of house, electro, techno, italo, disco, freestyle, soul, funk and whatever other finds he digs up. In 2017 he caught the ear of B-Traits and was chosen to be a BBC Radio 1 Future 12 resident, where he had the opportunity to flex his encyclopedic knowledge of dance music new and old. His latest endeavor Club Lonely is both a party and record label releasing music from the likes of Ben Sims, Alden Tyrell, Matrixxman, Francesco Farfa, Project Pablo and himself alongside of the rest of the Club Lonely crew. The party's mantra is "A Safe Place To Play House" and has been a hub for the freaks left in San Francisco. The way Vin steps to music is an honest way using the classic tools of the trade and holding up his values to the craft, respecting the past but not afraid to shatter it.
