SOFT CENTRE, Australia’s experimental art and sound festival is now happy to announce the opening of their 2021 programme. The festival is known for its experimental electronic music, radical art performances and extensive range of light systems across its venue in Sydney.

This upcoming year, the festival is planning to organise various projects in different areas, be it digital or physical contexts. Also, they are welcoming submissions for the following areas: light/video installations, audio-visual performances, sound and noise art, experimental electronic music, dance/performances and new media.

Due to results caused by this year’s pandemics, the organisers are hoping for “ambitious ideas that speak the crucial conversations at the moment” and that are “innovative in their response to current evolving performance and event conditions”.

Some of the artists that performed in the previous years of the festival are Lawrence English, A Made Up Sound, Via App, Cassius Select, Ptwiggs and phile.

The applications will be open internationally and locally, until January 1, 2021
