Portland-based producer yung bae taps influences that are as varied as they are danceable: disco, funk, r&b and even japanese “city pop.” these largely sampled grooves, obscure and otherwise manifest as undeniably vintage sounds presented in gleaming, modern electronic trappings. Bae has worked many Asian artists and labels, including the 88 Rising Crew. With collabs and support from the likes of Mura Masa, Josh Pan, and Louis the Child, Bae's support has grown tremendously. He's also started to work with Kendrick Lamar on remixes.
