about
TOUCH BASS: AUCKLAND
Australia and New Zealand’s leading breakbeat party TOUCH BASS returns this Easter following another successful, sold-out run in 2018. The touring festival will once again be going deep with a star-studded international lineup; delivering all things low-end-bass house, dubstep, drum & bass, trap and hip hop. The 2019 events are headlined by the long-overdue Australian debut of Canada’s leading lady REZZ; stepping up the game with her full live LED showcase and highly unique sound. Supporting on his first Australian arena run is ZOMBOY (UK); the rot-and-roller establishing himself (beside Excision) at the top of the dubstep tree in 2018 via his ear-splitting take on the genre. Dubstep pioneer RUSKO (UK) returns to Australia for the first time in nearly a decade for one of the most anticipated and feel good performances of the year; overcoming cancer to slay audiences on recent return shows including Lost Lands 2018 and dropping yet another anthem. Drum & Bass don MACKY GEE (UK) steps to the decks to give a jump up flavour to TOUCH BASS for the first time, alongside the biggest mover of 2018, EKALI (Canada); production master and purveyor of eclectic mixes. Clear leading light of UK Bass, our own party mascot HOLY GOOF (UK) rounds out the international bill; feeding his growing cult down under dropping his signature party blend. Homegrown hero PHASEONE returns from the USA for his first Australian arenas (Perth, Brisbane and Auckland), bringing his explosive sound to TOUCH BASS for the first time. With the loudest rigs, biggest production within the best venues nationally, TOUCH BASS’ reputation paired with a sold-out sign on every single show since its inception is reason enough to not sleep on these Easter eggs.
