Take Note Academy, London’s music conference for the next generation, launches an online platform to continue educating, inspiring and connecting their community while the physical event is postponed until 2021. Take Note Academy Online launches on Monday with a one week series of daily interviews in collaboration with Youth Music and long-term partner, LWE. Going live every day at 5 pm with interviews including the two young founders of online members streaming platform, Keep Hush, discussing how the online industry should challenge existing structures and direct more money to Artists, as well as Youth Music funded UK radio station Reprezent Radio, and delving into the unique career of DJ, radio host and presenter, Emerald. Take Note Academy also takes a walk through the life of worldwide respected UK bass music platform, UKF, with founder Luke Hood, and talks to creative director Gerald Sagoe explaining his creative process for working with Artists on visual content, and branding and content creation through his agency So Fraiche. “We all miss human interaction - live gigs, club nights, studio sessions, college or office brainstorming, dance floor epiphanies and communal spaces to develop creative relationships - all that our industry is built on. While we are on pause Take Note will provide an online platform for the next generation to keep learning, be inspired and stay connected. We must adapt to move forwards, and come together to keep creating.” “Youth Music is delighted to be collaborating with Take Note Academy to amplify the work of some of the UK music scene’s most exciting entrepreneurs, DJs and content creators, enabling others to learn from their experiences. We’re committed to nurturing the energy, skills, and ideas of the next generation which is needed now more than ever.” There will be a free option to sign up to the Take Note Academy Online community, where you can create your own profile, DM speakers and receive opportunities from Youth Music and industry / brand partners, as well as connect with professionals and the Take Note team. This members layer of the platform will give young people a place to display their work and explore collaborations in any creative field connected to music.
