Respected and acknowledged around the world as one of the three Detroit Techno innovators, Kevin Saunderson is a legend in his own right, who has helped to reshape the future of Dance music as we know it. At the age of nine he moved a suburb of Detroit and befriended Derrick May and Juan Atkins, influencing each other into becoming the "Belleville Three" - becoming the originators of Detroit techno.

Dantiez Saunderson, son of Kevin Saunderson, has only just begun his musical journey. Growing up in Detroit surrounded by the sounds of Techno, House, Soul and Jazz, Dantiez has developed a solid foundation in his musical career producing, songwriting and DJing. As a child, it was not unusual for Dantiez to hear sounds ranging from his multi-talented parents to the original stylings of Carl Craig, to the bleeps and rhythms of Ritchie Hawtin and so many more that create the Detroit musical tapestry. Dantiez expresses his sound is not like his Dad’s but admits that you can hear the deep influences through his broad range of his musical productions.

Groundwerk is an arts organization with a mission to grow Vancouver's electronic music scene through artist development, knowledge sharing and community collaboration.
Groundwerk runs monthly social events that serve as a gathering place for Vancouver's electronic music producers, event planners, label representatives and general music enthusiasts to connect and collaborate.
