Utah isn’t the first place that comes to mind when planning an all-night rager. But in not-so-quiet Salt Lake City, Get Lucky is a booming EDM festival in all senses of the word. Since 2006, Brandon Fullmer and Jeremy Moreland of V2 Presents have thrown the biggest, wildest, and baddest St. Patrick’s Day party in their region. For two days and across two stages at The Great Saltair, Get Lucky presents a bevy of household-name DJs who play bass-bumping tracks for festival-goers to dance to all night long. Forget what you heard about following the rainbow to a pot of gold. Follow the beats and the bass to get to the Tent of Gold, a music stage that will certainly fill your ears with treasures galore. For a wild-good time, Get Lucky leans more towards the harder styles of EDM, such as dubstep, drum n’ bass, trap, and hardstyle. Some notable acts who have played in the past are Datsik, Snails, Destructo, Getter, and Slander, just to name a few. To balance it out and give some variety, Get Lucky has also included artists from other subgenres of EDM such as trancer.
