Respect Presents Flite, MACHETE, Zoot & MC DRE.

FLITE
Beginning in 2011, Texas based producer Flite, AKA Justin Hellier, has steadily gained international momentum. With releases on Hospital Records, Liquicity Records, Monstercat, and releases promoted by some of the world's biggest DNB promoters such as UKF Drum & Bass, Liquicity, MrSuicidesheep and more, Flite's music has spanned the internet with his diverse drum & bass compositions. His music has received DJ support from DNB titans such as High Contrast, Netsky, DJ Fresh, London Elektricity, Metrik, AMC, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, and many more. Flite originally burst onto the scene with his track Blue Spark, which received hundreds of thousands of plays on the Youtube channel Liquicity. During 2014, at only 19 years old, he briefly signed to label ‘Sup Yo’, and released his debut single Featherfall, gaining early support and BBC airplay from some of Drum & Bass's top DJs and producers. In 2015, Flite released Colorless and Dive, both pieces intricately displaying Flite’s approach to smooth, beautiful DNB. Following a short hiatus, Flite announced his full time dedication to Drum & Bass with the release of Blue Spark VIP in 2016, and a string of over fourteen different tracks to follow in 2017. 2018 proves to hold the same momentum. Flite is currently a resident of Austin, Texas, and is looking to invigorate and energize US Drum & Bass through his in-containable passion, and unpredictable taste in music.

MACHETE
Rob Machete began his musical career back in 1991 as DJ Rob G, spinning Hip-Hop at Hollywood afterhours events such as No-Doz, What?, and Caffiend. The Los Angeles underground rave culture was in it's infancy and Rob was inspired by the techno-breakbeat music emerging out of England via vinyl records played by DJs Raw, Curious, and Oscar da Grouch. These frantic bass-heavy beats that evolved from old-school breaks layered with HipHop and Reggae samples were intriguing and propelled him in a new direction. Rob, encouraged by his peers, changed his professional name to Machete in 1994 - a title meant to evoke the nature of his mixing and cutting skills in relation to this new Jungle music.
