DJ NESS AFRO
Passionate about music and vinyl at a very early age, he started to deejay for his father former head of culture at the UNESCO. Ness Errahmani aka DJ Ness has made a name for himself in the Afrobeat community for the last 20 years or so.He has open for both Seun & Femi kuti, Ebo Taylor, The Soul Jazz Orchestra or Jungle By Night but also hip hop acts like Apollo Brown & Skyzoo or Delinquent Habits…As a producer or manager he has released albums like the French Cameroon duo Fire Tongue & Chief Cook or the legendary french hip hop band 2 Bal 2 Neg. Ness has also been involved with the first album of Seun Kuti and produced remixes for Mop Mop, Fairuz. His relationship with Fela & Seun Kuti led him to travel to Africa and co- produced a 7 inch of Isdeen in Benin to also spin in Coutounou.
COSHMAR
Some already knows him as DJ Coshmar, the nick name he used to produce his first mix tapes (during the 90’s) and two turntablist’s Lp : “Politically Uncorrect” (2002) and “Concrete or Abstract” (2007), both 100% built from vinyl & turntables. Others identify him as Snik, a Parisian graffiti writer since 1988. Very few know that Dj Coshmar aka Supa Cosh… is also the founder – A.D and designer of Star Wax / France’s n°1 Dj’s & diggers Lifestyle magazine since 2006 http://www.starwaxmag.com ; this Dj-producer was born in Las Palmas (Canarias islands), but grew up in Paris suburb, is also able to produce beats and Dj sets to make people think or move on the dancefloors.
