EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Dear Desert Hearts Family, With the newest recommendation from the Center For Disease Control to suspend events of 50 people or more for the next 8 weeks across the United States, it is with the heaviest of hearts that our beloved Desert Hearts Festival will be postponed until October 22nd - 26th, 2020. While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we can’t in good conscience risk the health of our DH Community, The Los Coyotes Band of Indians, and our loved ones by moving forward with the April dates. The festival will return to the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation in Southern California this Fall as we celebrate our 8th Anniversary of Desert Hearts! Please be assured, all purchases for the April festival will be honored for the upcoming October dates. All refunds due to the changing dates will be honored as well. Purchasers should reach out to tickets@deserthearts.us on how to obtain a refund if they are unable to attend the festival in October. We understand that right now as human beings we’re headed into uncharted territories and things are about to get really strange, but let’s take a little comfort in the fact that we’re all going through this together. We’ve said it time and time again, but right now it truly feels like we need to be putting out as much love and positivity into the world as we can. Even if we can’t hug each other or gather like we’re used to, we can still give love and lift those around us. Check in with your friends and family often, be good to one another and let’s get through this together. Maybe the silver lining in all of this is that society will wake up and realize we’re all a part of this shared existence on earth. Stay strong out there.
