Derias was raised in a family filled with talented musicians and grew up being heavily influenced by jazz & classic rock including Miles Davis, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. His musical education comprised of years of music theory training as well as playing the piano since the age of 4. Derias has always been an admirer of the endless possibilities of music in particular the allure of rhythm, melody and chord progressions. It was through this very essence where he began to develop his passion for electronic music. Throughout the years, he has played alongside some prominent names in scene including Armen Miran, Davi, Kerala Dust and Viken Arman. Derias's sound comprises of deep, melodic, ethnic house carefully blended with spacey atmospheric pads.
