There are sometimes strange coincidences in life, and music is no exception. It turns out that the three leading figures of the synthwave revival that are Perturbator , Carpenter Brut and Dan Terminus all started by making their weapons in the metal, before switching to the synthetic side of the force. Having discovered the genre through the Hotline Miami video game , Dan gradually gets acquainted with the MAO tools and begins composing electro songs in his room. Having received production and composition advice from Perturbator and Noir Deco , he released his debut album The Darkhest Benthic Divisionon Bandcamp in 2014, which is followed by a second one the same year: Stratospheric Cannon Symphony , which was originally composed as the soundtrack for an independent video game that never came into existence.
