Lunchmeat Festival and Fact Magazine collaborate on online event with acclaimed digital artist and director Sam Rolfes. The web only performance is the audio-visual "tour de force" through his exceptional and extravagant mutant visual style that made him famous working through video and still image projects for artists including Amnesia Scanner, Danny L Harle, or Caroline Polachek. The Lunchmeat x Fact online event marks the ending of Rolfes residency at Fact Magazine and can be enjoyed with cardboard VR glasses that can be bought with the ticket. Sam Rolfes is a Chicago and New York based mixed-format digital artist and director who has been called "L’Enfant terrible of digital arts" by Clot Magazine. Rofles uses the human body as a mark making device and underlying structure, he crafts diffusive psychosexual worlds that sublimate space and identity. His work examines the mutability and malleability of flesh, and surreal performance through the lens of contemporary portraiture. He also worked with Danny Brown, Rihanna, Squarepusher, made live 3D sculpting/visuals for Evian Christ, Mumdance, Lightning Bolt, and Teengirl Fantasy.
