DJ, writer, host, traveller. Leo first got heavily into electronic music through Cologne's then-vibrant Drum'n'Bass-scene. Raised on a healthy diet of Jungle, DnB and original Dubstep, his urge to share contemporary music soon found an outlet via radio shows on the city's student radio station Kölncampus. While hosting weekly on air-sessions for other DJs, he developed an interest in mixing vinyl himself.
Around that time artists like Martyn, Boddika or Scuba were all changing their game, moving into house and techno and thus paving the way for Leo's slow transition from breakbeats into 4/4-territory. Today his bass music roots are still audible, yet he selects from across the whole board, ranging from dusty disco-edits to analog lo-fi house to gritty warehouse techno. All connected by a red thread of grainy atmosphere, of sounds rich with texture, of limping rhythms and hazy moods that always seem just a bit blurred.
Takky is a raver and music lover at heart will full vibrations and one of the family members with the forward-thinking MELA crew. At present, she is one of the young generations of artist's that is making waves in the local hood from clubs to pop-ups and secret events after the midnight hours. Her identity of music is quite diverse in the electronic spectrum but with a hint of sweetness from ambient to four to the floor bangers.
