Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, commonly known by his stage name Alesso, is a Swedish DJ and record producer. The EDM giant’s production prowess is near-universally known. Over the years he’s worked with legends like Calvin Harris, Usher, David Guetta and Sebastian Ingrosso, and headlined major events like Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields, and Tomorrowland. He’s even been memorialised in the popular video game Payday 2, when players rob a vault during an Alesso concert.

Andrew John Clarke is a British DJ and record producer and is co-founder of RAM Records, a pioneering label in the drum and bass genre. Andy C was a DJ in his own right but gained a strong reputation and more bookings off the back of the successful "Valley of the Shadows" track, an early drum and bass track that walked the line perfectly between hardcore and drum and bass just as the genres were starting to split. The track, created and released by Origin Unknown (made up of Andy C and Ant Miles)—often referred to as "31 Seconds" or "Long Dark Tunnel" because of the samples it incorporates—made use of a heavy bassline, bell samples and a rolling drum track to produce a popular, easy to recognise track that was easy to mix and became a favourite in dance floors at raves across the UK and beyond. The track was released as an EP in 1993[7] and has been remixed and re-released several times, and is widely recognised as one of the most influential drums and bass tunes of the early 90s.

A couple of years after winning the Beatport Breakthrough Award in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, ANNA enters the list at No.95. Known to her parents as Ana Miranda, she went from playing to a 1,500-strong crowd at the age of 14 in her home country of Brazil to fronting DJ Mag North America in 2019. New music from ANNA has been huge in festival sets for many world-leading techno DJs all summer. Then there was the richly deserved Essential Mix for the BBC that started 2019 off right, as the Brazilian distilled 20 years of DJing experience into an inspiring two-hour techno masterclass. DJ Mag rightly recognised her talents, putting her on the cover of their North American edition in February, a nod to the breakaway impact she’s had on that region.

Avalon Emerson is from the desert. While she currently lives in Berlin, the music she produces comes from the dreamlike expanse and abstract textures of the Sonoran landscapes of Arizona. Her journey has taken her from that sunbaked state to the contemporary dance music mecca via a long stint in San Francisco, where she cut her teeth as a DJ in the city's storied warehouse party scene. In her DJ sets and productions now, she offers a timeless narrative that reflects a passion for the sound design of new wave, the futurism of techno, the soul of American house and the exuberance of rave. Azu Tiwaline is a producer inspired by the need to explore her origins, rooted in the Sahara. Her sound is a mix of the organic and the raw, vibrations from the spaces of the desert where entrancing music resonates and ecstatic rituals are commonplace.

Bicep is an electronic music production and DJ duo from Belfast, Northern Ireland, consisting of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar. Bicep was formed in 2009 as a production and DJing pair in London, UK. The duo, childhood friends, created a blog called "Feel My Bicep", which was used to post lost and forgotten disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno and Italo disco edits. They released tracks on labels Throne of Blood, Traveller Records and Mystery Meat before joining Will Saul's Aus Music and setting up their own label Feel My Bicep in September 2012. Born in 1981, Boris Brejcha started his musical education in his childhood. His first two releases in 2006, “Monster” and “Yellow Kitchen” were released on the Berlin label Autist Records. A few EPs later, Boris moved from Autist Records to Harthouse. With tracks like “Die Maschinen Sind Gestrandet” and “Lost Memory”, he combined his unique sound with a maximum of varieties. Consequently, he became the “exceptional Talent 2007” in the electronic music magazine Raveline. Boris also created his second alias called “ANNA” in 2007 and had some groundbreaking releases on Autist Records. After four years of touring, three albums and lots of singles, Boris became a constant favorite in today's club scene. Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly performed as MC with the group, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. Claptone is a German DJ and producer duo which specializes in house and tech house genres. They are recognizable by their plague doctor-style golden mask, which serves to intrigue the public as well as keeping their identity hidden. Claptone first surfaced in 2011 with a series of digital singles on Shir Khan's Exploited label. Before his music career he was a professional surfer. Fisher started out as one half of the DJ duo Cut Snake with surfer Leigh "Sedz" Sedley. The duo formed in 2012 and released the EP's Life's a Beach in 2015, Magic in 2016, and Action Burger in 2016. Paul Fisher released the single "Losing It" in 2018 which reached #26 in Belgium, #35 in Australia, and #60 in Ireland and in the UK. The song also reached #1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart. His single "You Little Beauty" was released in 2019 and reached #41 in Australia. Fisher was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for "Losing It" at the 2019 Grammy Awards and the song finished at #2 in the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2018.

Since then Hailu has been a resident of the Washington DC area, spending most of his recent years as a cab driver at the capital's Dulles Airport and playing only privately. Enter Brian Shimkovitz, operator of the acclaimed blog-turned-record label Awesome Tapes From Africa, who came across "Hailu Mergia & His Classical Instrument", a somehow obscure 1985 cassette, in a music store in Ethiopia, tracked down the old maestro and reissued it: This charming tape has both a nostalgic feel (in its attempt to revive the accordion, once East Africa's leading instrument before electrified "western" rock style instrumentation took over) as well as a futuristic dimension (recorded by the exiled Hailu all by himself in multi-track it features a host of synthesizers and drum machines). On the back of Shimkovitz' reissue of "Classical Instrument" (which came out June 25 2013), Hailu started to play live again - in the US with the New York based Afrobeat band Low Mentality and in Europe with a hard-tobeat rhythm section made up from two leading Australian improvisors living in Berlin: Tony Buck (drums) has been involved in a highly diverse array of projects but is probably best known around the world as a member of the genre-bending trio and cult band The Necks. Mike Majkowski (*1983) on double bass has come to acclaim with his imaginative solo performances and for his sideman work for Peter Brötzmann and Han Bennink. Together the trio explores the deep, liquid and hypnotic qualities of Hailu Mergia's music, while not forgetting to throw in some defty bits of funk now and then.

It was no longer just the sound of European raves, but became something worldly. Headhunterz made new audiences fall in love with the unstoppable energy of Hardstyle music. 7 years after visiting his very first hardstyle party he was on top of his career, with each new track captivating both his fanbase and artists outside the scene.

DJing since 2011, New York native John Raffaele has been bringing life to dancefloors in the US and abroad on countless occasions. His tireless work and commitment to nightlife and music culture with his projects Subsurface (party) & Impressions Philly (record store) could be described as an unquenchable thirst for more. After relocating to Philadelphia in 2016, John wasted no time working dancefloors across the city for underground local crews. After 2 years in the Philadelphia circuit, John teamed up with his partner and one of his closest friends, Keen in December 2017 to launch the now accredited warehouse party series- Subsurface, to channel their vision into their own experience to share with others in Philadelphia. Since then they have wasted no time reshaping the mold of underground parties in Philadelphia hosting artists such as Anthony Parasole, Omar S, John Dimas, Steve O’Sullivan, and more recently Hamish & Toby, Brawther, Analog Soul, Christian AB and more with no signs of slowing down. In August of 2020, during the pandemic John had been digging for records at such a frequent rate, and being out of gigs with little income- he spawned Impressions Philadelphia, an online/ pop-up record store, filling a void for dance music record shopping in Philly. Sapropelic Pycnic is the solo project of Ka Baird of Spires That In The Sunset Rise. Ka Baird is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist living and working in NYC. She is one of the founding and continuing members of the long running avant psych project Spires That In The Sunset Rise. Described by Jack Rose as a "female Sun City Girls," STITSR have contributed a different slant to the New Folk movement by incorporating various avant-garde and world music influences into their music. Their sound has been compared to the Raincoats, Meredith Monk, Comus and Harry Partch. Their most recent album "Beasts In The Garden" was described by Marc Masters as "some kind of long-lost Terry Riley/Angus MacLise collaboration, equally devoted to divine repetition and center-seeking ritual." Since 2001, they have released eight full length records and several side releases. Since relocating to NYC in November 2014, Baird has set off in numerous directions apart from Spires with new collaborations as well as honing in on her own solo work. Her current work explores piano improvisation, electroacoustic interventions, extended vocal techniques, physical movement, and her unusual electronic manipulation of the flute. She released an album of piano improvisations through Brooklyn label Perfect Wave "See Sun Think Shadow" in November of 2015 and a tribute record "A Love Supreme" dedicated to John Coltrane through Chicago label No Index in January of 2016. She has toured extensively both nationally and internationally with performances at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), MoMA PS1 (Brooklyn), Roulette Intermedium (Brooklyn), Issue Project Room (Brooklyn), Cafe OTO (London) and numerous festival appearances with Spires including TUSK (Newcastle, UK), Incubate (Tilburg, Netherlands), and Festival Of Endless Gratitude (Copenhagen, DK). She also co-runs the label and concert organizer Perfect Wave with Camilla Padgitt-Coles.

Kate NV is... ...the multifaceted solo persona of Moscow-based artist Kate Shilonosova. A changeling that follows afflatus in all its forms, NV is a student of architecture, illustrates curious, colorful characters, and improvises live with bells and water glasses amidst compact synthesizers and cables. Her debut Pink Jungle EP was followed by the frenetic pop-leaning Binasu released by Orange Milk in 2016 and the minimalist exploration of для FOR released by RVNG in 2018. As her musical pendulum swings back from playful instrumental to surreal song, NV is paired with RVNG for the second time on Room for the Moon. NV describes the songs of Moon, as dear friends; each piece of music is a moody cinematic moment where NV performs with a cast of off-kilter objects. Influenced by Japanese 80s pop and Russian conceptualism, Victor Pivovarov comes through when NV describes composing music. Imagine entering a cozy room that has boundaries but at the same time can contain an entire world. Celestial bodies party and time fits in a pocket. When composing, NV listens to her surroundings and daydreams while abstract electronics and enchanted songs visit. Recorded around Moscow with friends and collaborators, the music is a frothy distortion of nostalgic atmospheres cast in sax, base, marimba and MIDI. Singing is at the foreground-- beaming with assurance, delivered in multiple languages and characters. One gets the sense that NV as a performer has near infinite capacity to push further.

Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits. When she’s behind the decks, even her biggest fans often have no idea exactly what she’s playing, and that’s part of the magic. Like all DJs, Willikens of course has a passion for records and is always on the hunt for elusive bits of music, but as an artist, her work doesn’t hinge on any one track or even a handful of tracks. She’s after something bigger, something that’s truly transportive for those on the dancefloor, and the tracks she plays – whether they’re bizarre slices of synth exploration, some ominously churning proto-industrial stomp, or something else that simply defies classification – are all parts of a larger, more psychically satisfying whole. These days, however, Willikens' radio adventures happen on NTS, where she pilots the monthly Lightning Conductor program. Now based in Amsterdam, her curatory prowess prompted an invite from Dekmantel to put together the fifth installment of their acclaimed Selectors compilation series, and she also contributed a track to the label’s run of all-star 10th anniversary EPs. As a remixer, she's been tapped in recent years to rework the likes of Lena Platonos, rRoxymore, S U R V I V E, Simian Mobile Disco, and Ana Helder, amongst others. And amidst all this activity, she's also been busy with Phantom Kino Ballett, a collaboration with artist Sarah Szczesny that lands somewhere between immersive audio-visual experience and performance art, allowing Willikens to indulge her transportive impulses in a completely new way. In 2020, she played a series of live stream events and virtual festivals including an empty Dance Arena at EXIT and even on top of Mount Olympus in Greece. She also collaborated with streaming giants Spotify when she was chosen to be part of their trackID series, providing a regularly updated playlist to the platform that includes tracks from her own label as well as a diverse collection of releases from across multiple genres. That genre-hopping is also evident in her sets, where trance, techno, ambient and hardstyle can all be heard in one swoop, with her inimitable presence in the booth adding to the allure of Kraviz’s sets. Peggy Gou is a South Korean-born DJ and producer based in Berlin. During the 2010s, she became internationally renowned for energetic DJ sets, which dreamily flow through various styles of techno, house, and electro. Her own tracks, such as the acclaimed 2018 single "It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)," are vibrant, joyous productions that echo vintage deep house and post-disco without sounding like a throwback. ~

Hardware acid, house & club music with aggressive singing (Spanish) exploring themes of power & control. Pelada, the duo of singer Chris Vargas and producer Tobias Rochman, broke out of Montreal's underground warehouse rave scene in 2014 after uploading tracks to Soundcloud which caught the attention of the global dance music scene. They spent the next five years touring the globe extensively before signing with Berlin experimental label PAN in 2019 and releasing their debut LP 'Movimiento Para Cambio';. A record which Mixmag included in their 'Best Albums of the Decade' list, Resident Advisor named it 'One of the Best Records of 2019'; while DJ Mag asserted "they are a vital and contemporary addition to dance music's punk cannon". Their collaboration is a blend of urgent Spanish language vocals centered around themes of power, control, social justice with hardware samplers, synths, and drum machines. The unique sound has led them to perform in many different contexts, whether it be entire tours opening for more traditional punk acts like Iceage and Shame, to the exact opposite, performing live during peak times at techno clubs such as Berghain. Since the pandemic, they have continued to connect with new audiences online, raising money for local charities by performing at the now legendary LGBTQiA2+ Zoom party Club Quarantine, and also for the Latinx Queer collective Chimbites (for whom Chris is an organizer). An emblematic artist of the Palestinian underground scene, SAMA’ is one of the first DJs and electronic music producers to emerge from the region. Her sound, an original punchy kind of techno, is dry and musical all at once and has quickly made its way across Europe and beyond.

Of course, the band’s route to success was not quite as simple as frontman H.P. Baxxter describes. Scooter have indeed worked hard on their career and – we should not forget – they have now been in the business for over ten years. The former techno trio, who fought their way through the discotheques with “Hyper Hyper”, has developed into a serious band that now fills arenas with 80,000 people, has sold over ten million records and whose list of gold and platinum discs just seems to be endless.,Did anyone expect this back in 1994 when the band was formed in its original line-up? H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, Ferris Bueller and, not least, manager and label boss Jens Thele started small: The trio’s debut “Hyper Hyper” went straight into the charts – and was immediately passed off as a one-hit wonder. However, the critics and journalists spoke far too soon. The follow-up hits like “Move Your Ass”, “Friends”, “Endless Summer”and “Back In The UK” were all just as successful. With several tracks to his name all made in the space of the last twelve months 2004 has been a massive year for Nick aka Sub Focus: the year has seen him breakthrough in unprecedented fashion armed with the likes of the technically astounding “Acid Test”, the simple yet devastatingly effective “Strobe”, the lively “Get on Up” and the altoghether awesome “X-Ray”. In a matter of months, he has gone from being one of many wannabe producers to become a permanent fixture of the award winning Ram Records family. Artists like Sub Focus are what “Best Breakthrough Producer” awards are made for.,Even though Nick has been obsessed with dance music, both its creation and its culture for a large chunk of his formative years, his first experience with making music came from playing bass in a rock band at school. However his involvement with the band didn’t last very long as on hearing dance music Nick was totally blown away by it’s diversity and the variety of sounds on offer. Consequently he decided that the tone of rock music didn’t satisfy as he felt it to be far too limited, in contrast Nick found the unlimited tonal possibilities of dance music to be extremely exciting. Particular music that got him hooked included; General Levy’s “Incredible” and most things from Prodigy’s early years.,Nick actually started making beats at the tender age of thirteen on an old Acorn computer, although to begin with he was just messing around he quickly found his passion and this light hearted hobby gradually became an obsession. It’s important to note that until recently Nick has been entirely self taught, his only aid coming from a whole host of software instruction manuals which he enjoyed reading from cover to cover.,Things didn’t really start to happen for him until last year when he made a conscious decision to take his production process extremely seriously. Nick enrolled in a renowned sound engineering course in London’s East End, where he found himself polishing up his self taught skills, whilst also going deeper into the realms of truly understanding the concept of sound.,Eventually Nick managed to make a few things that he felt proud of so he began to give out some CDs for his friends to listen to, only looking for a bit of feedback. However, a certain friend decided to take one of these “Don’t Play Them to Anyone Else” CDs and give one to award winning DJ and Ram Record’s label owner Andy C. On hearing the tracks Andy not only saw talent but he saw a release, within hours Nick had the phone call and within weeks Nick had his first release on Ram’s much respected sister imprint Frequency: a 12" featuring “Down the Drain” with “Hotline” on the flip.,With this new found confidence in mind; in recent months Nick went in the studio and rolled out three brilliant bits of production in quick succession. To Nick’s delight all of them got the stamp of approval; “Acid Test” and “Get On Up” will act as his follow up release on Frequency whilst his brilliant “Strobe” is to be included on Chapter Six of the Ram Raiders series on Ram Records. All the above tracks have been really well received by the scene’s top flight DJs but to Nick’s surprise press and radio have been in support too; they’ve all received regular airplay on both Grooverider’s BBC Radio 1 Drum & Bass show and Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 prime time specialist show.,All that remains to be said is remember the name and watch this space.

Through his recordings, epic-length DJ sets, dozens of commercial mix albums, and label operations, Sven Väth is one German trance and techno's most popular proponents. Originally the lead singer of a dance-pop group named OFF, Väth hit the big time in 1986 when OFF's "Electrica Salsa (Baba Baba)" became a number three pop hit in their native country. The band later disintegrated, leaving Väth free to pursue his interest in the hard trance underground of Frankfurt. An Accident in ParadiseVäth became a DJ of note for his marathon sets, which sometimes approached 24 hours, and his 1992 co-founding of Harthouse Records. His own releases on the label included those by Barbarella, Astral Pilot, and Metal Masters with the help of his partner, Ralf Hildenbeutel. Blessed with an agreement connecting Harthouse and its subsidiaries to the American major label Warner Bros., Väth released Accident in Paradise, again with contributions from Hildenbeutel, as his first solo album.

DJ Tiësto, also known as Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda, Netherlands. He is considered one of the pioneers of the trance music genre and is known for his live shows and remixes of popular songs. Tiësto began his career in the early 1990s and released his first solo album, "In My Memory," in 2001. He has since released several more albums and has performed at major music festivals around the world. He was voted the "world's No.1 DJ" by DJ Magazine in 2002, 2003 and 2004, and in 2013, he was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag.

Timothy Jude Smith, the Australian DJ, producer and musician better known as Timmy Trumpet has finally cracked the top ten in 2020’s Top 100 DJs poll. He's been on an upward trajectory for a few years now, steadily moving up each year from No.75 in 2016 to this year’s top ten rankings. In that time, he’s become infamous for his full-on, no-holds-barred performances, high-energy delivery and of course for his live trumpet skills – he’s actually an accomplished musician who has been playing his instrument since he was four and was Australian Young Musician of the Year at the age of 13.

Vini Vici is the new project of Aviram Saharai & Matan Kadosh, both well-known and experienced electronic music producers for over a decade. The concept of Vini Vici was formed by the boys with an intention to express their love for the old school sound, paired with their progressive ideas. Iboga Records and FM Bookings, widely considered to be the biggest psytrance label and booking agency, were the first to see the potential of the project and invited them to be part of their well respected family, alongside names such as: Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Ticon, Captain Hook, Atmos, and the like.

„The challenging sets he delivers are not always easy, but almost always ingenious“ Strange Sounds From Beyond Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ. He’s more than that of course, but as his essence, Ivkovic is someone with a particularly unique talent for selecting records and weaving them into a larger – and often unusually compelling – narrative. Born and raised in Belgrade, he first dabbled in DJing as a teenager in the mid ’80s, but it was only after leaving Yugoslavia (to study in Germany) and later coming back for a summertime visit that he truly immersed himself in the craft, taking up position behind the decks during a series of impromptu parties at a lakeside restaurant owned by his parents. From there, he spent much of the next two decades honing his skills while throwing events like Selected and Substance that played host to a cross-section of boundary-pushing DJs, long before it was fashionable to do so. Eventually, Ivkovic found his musical and spiritual home at Salon des Amateurs, an unassuming spot in Düsseldorf that’s gradually proven to be wildly influential, giving rise in recent years to otherworldly talents like Lena Willikens, Tolouse Low Trax, Jan Schulte and many others, including Ivkovic himself. With its small size, Salon des Amateurs provided something of an open platform, a place where true music lovers could experience DJs exploring sounds and genres that strayed far from traditional electronic dance music tropes. That same adventurous spirit has found its way into Ivkovic’s curation of Offen Music, a label he launched in 2015. Although the imprint’s output is all but impossible to neatly categorize – experimental Serbian rarities sit alongside ambient excursions and moody synth-pop in the label’s catalogue – the label’s open-minded approach and embrace of off-kilter sounds perfectly encapsulates Ivkovic’s artistic temperament. In recent years, that temperament has increasingly found devoted followers all around the globe. Simply put, Ivkovic has become a staple of the European club circuit; despite his many years in the humble confines of Salon des Amateurs, he’s proven to be just as comfortable at celebrated nightspots like De School (Amsterdam), Berghain (Berlin), Nitsa (Barcelona), Kaiku (Helsinki), Sub Club (Glasgow), Phonox (London), Fold (London), Corsica Studios (London), The White Hotel (Manchester), Mutabor (Moscow), Pacha (Ibiza), Blitz (Munich), Zukunft (Zurich), Concrete (Paris), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Circoloco (Ibiza) and others too numerous to list. ̸BIOGRAPHY dystopian live electronics of ever-increasing weirdness WOLF DEM is a live electronics duo from Philadelphia, conceived in the fall of 2012 by two longtime DJs who bonded over similar musical backgrounds and a mutual desire to explore the bleeding edges of electronic music. Using both digital and analog tools and drawing on a highly diverse range of influences, WOLF DEM grew from its original concept- "what your dreams would sound like if you fell asleep in an old warehouse where someone had left a dancehall station playing on the radio"- into a focused aesthetic, at once chaotic and hypnotic, sitting at the intersection of Caribbean music, techno, noise, and field recordings. After meeting up in 2007, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst came together to form W&W and haven’t looked back since. The Dutch DJ and production duo have transcended the boundaries of genres and traversed the world with their globally acclaimed music and iconic live performances, becoming one of the most sought-after duos the world of electronic music has to offer.

Amsterdam based DJ and producer that also runs his Safe Trip label. There was a time when Marco Sterk a.k.a. Young Marco’s talents as a DJ and producer were among Amsterdam’s best-kept secrets. For well over a decade, he plied his trade, largely unheralded, on the city’s underground dance music scene. It was here, via several now infamous residencies, that he learnt his craft, gaining a reputation for ballsy, genre-defying eclecticism, playing sets that joined the dots between everything from tropical rhythms, afro gems and quirky Middle Eastern disco, to lost proto-house, throbbing techno and industrial-strength jack-tracks. These days, the Dutchman’s talents are widely known around the World. His position as a crate digger, record collector and infamous party-starter now guarantees a packed schedule of gigs in Europe, North America and beyond. His passion for working a dancefloor with “strange music” and “unclassics” is renowned, and it’s this that makes his sets so special. This humid, off-kilter obsession with the inspired and unusual has become a hallmark of Marco’s music, too. Once a key part of the Rush Hour family – the legendary Amsterdam label releasing a number of his early singles – in 2011 he made his debut on Lovefingers’ highly regarded ESP Institute label. His first two EPs for the label set out his now-trademark style, and won support from the likes of Dixon and James Murphy, amongst others, along the way. It’s perhaps unsurprising that a string of remix requests followed, leading to now classic reworks for the likes of Heatsick, Joakim, Francis Bebey and Soft Rocks. His 2013 remix of Tony G’s “Dreams”, a killer chunk of blissful new age deep house, became one of the most in-demand and sought after records of that year. At the tail end of 2015, the best of these remixes were gathered together on Sorry For The Late Reply, the first release on Marco’s freshly minted Safe Trip imprint. 2014 saw the release of his most accomplished studio work to date, the superb debut album Biology on ESP Institute. Wonderfully picturesque, melodious, humid and glassy-eyed, it received rave reviews and confirmed his status as one of electronic music’s truly unique voices. The same year also saw the release of Clouds, a magical collaborative fulllength written and produced in a weekend with Italian ambient pioneer Gigi Masin and British artist Jonny Nash. Credited to Gaussian Curve and released by Amsterdam’s Music From Memory label, it was the unfeasibly beautiful sound of three like-minded musicians working towards a shared goal. In 2017, Marco is as busy as ever. He’ll be hitting the road April onwards with Gaussian Curve for a handful of live dates around the world in support of their second album The Distance, while his contribution to Dekmantel’s series of crate-digging compilations, Selectors, is due to hit in March. His own label – Safe Trip – will be picking up steam with a string of releases that explore electronic music in many different directions. As usual, you’ll also find him spreading his love of weird, wonderful and eccentric music in basements, warehouses and clubs the world over.

With previous releases on Desolat, Bptich Control, Cocoon, Defected and Cecille, and new Yousef music signed and ready to be released this year on Crosstown Rebels, Knee Deep in Sound, Hot Creations, This & That as well as his own Circus Recordings. 2016 saw Yousef tackle remixes for The Glitz, Diego, Frank Storm and provide a powerful 'yousef circus rework' version of the legendary Chaka Khan. Yousef's legendary Circus event in his native Liverpool rolls into its 15th year, championing the finest in house & techno since day one, Circus embarks on its first worldwide tour with a staggering 15 events across the globe in 15 of the finest locations such as London, New York, LA, Sydney, Milan, Berlin, Paris and Barcelona With a total 15 completed dates in Ibiza during 2016 playing for the likes of Carl Cox at Space, Do Not Sleep at Space, ANTS at Ushuaia, Circo Loco at DC10 to hosting his own 10,000 capacity Circus arena at Parklife Festival in Manchester.

Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger. For the past fifteen years, the Zillas have been resident DJs at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution. Since the 2019 release of their EPs Black Cat (Optimo Music) and She Takes NRG (Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort), the Zillas have been busy building a steady catalog of EPs, tracks, and remixes for labels like Polari, Nocturne, Dischi Autunno, Inside Out, Multi Culti, Throne of Blood, Microdosing, and more. Along the way, they’ve garnered support from futuristic fellow travelers like Roman Flügel, Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Justin Strauss, Bradley Zero, Sean Johnston, and many others.
