JULIUS JETSON
Julius Jetson is a native of Washington DC and has been active in the local scene for over 5 years. A DJ turned Producer; Jetson has focused his attention to creating tracks that blend together hip-hop and ghetto house. His influences in hip hop stem from his childhood, in which Atlanta rappers such as Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Gucci Mane, Boyz N The Hood, and Lil Scrappy dominated the scene. Fast forward, some years later and we see Jetson drawing on these hip-hop influences and mixing them with ghetto house to etch out a truly unique sound. Drawing inspiration from modern day producers such as Maceo Plex, Shiba San, Dr Fresch, and Hotel Garuda, Jetson is dead set on cementing his name in the g-house community.

You can never be completely sure what you’re in for when you see Subset perform - even he isn’t too certain what to expect. Honing his craft over the past six years in the demanding and eclectic New York City scene, Subset has soaked up the variety of music NYC has to offer and developed his unique sound by finding ways to weave all of these loose threads together. From his weekly bass music party at Webster Hall (BASSment Saturdays) to his renegade sets at festivals around the country to massive sets at Holy Ship!, Camp Bisco, and Burning Man, Subset knows just what to play to set the perfect tone, no matter the setting.
